A new business promises to care for the pets of people who are transported suddenly to heaven in the Rapture, an event that some evangelical Christians believe will precede the Apocalypse as described in the Book of Revelation. Most Rapture experts say that when the faithful go to Jesus, their pets will stay on Earth with the non-believers.

The $11k figure is not accurate. While we signed our 100th paying client in Novemeber, some number of our clients have contracted for multiple pet rescues.
Word of mouth, and internet articles as well as nationwide radio interviews, and blog postings have been the mainstay of our marketing. It has cost us nothing. The obsticle to increased volume is the general lack of trust of atheists by theists.

I know what you mean about the lack of trust of atheists, given that we are a despised minority. I can see where that might be a problem.
But at any rate, congratulations on coming up with a great idea. I hope you make a lot of money with it. I have some relatives that believe in the rapture, and I'll definitely be mentioning your services to them.
