The Idiocy of John Conyers

House Judiciary Committee Chairmen John Conyers, (D of course), wants the head of USAID demoted. Why?

“This is so serious an error in judgment that it warrants his immediate demotion to a subordinate position at AID.”
What horrific error of judgement could he be talking about? Apparently Rajiv Shah, the administrator in question, who happens to be in charge of the Haiti relief effort, dared to show up at a meeting of the Congressional Black Caucus without bringing any black staff members. That's what Conyers thinks is a "serious error in judgement."
“I was alarmed and chagrined to learn that none of the approximately dozen staff he brought with him were African American,” Conyers wrote in the letter.
Shah met with him to talk about the Haiti relief effort, but Conyers is more concerned that Shah's staff doesn't meet his personal racial quota requirements. Instead of worrying about Haiti, in Conyers' world the director of USAID should be spending time working on the racial make-up of the support staff he brings to Congressional meetings.

I'm "alarmed and chagrined" that the people of Michigan keep electing a race-obsessed clown like John Conyers.  The "serious error of judgement" in this case was Conyers opening his mouth. Need a reason to vote Republican? Look no further than John Conyers, House Judiciary Chairman.
